My husband & I had such a wonderful time staying at Casa Verde, we didn’t want to leave! Kees & Karin are lovely, very laid back & give you everything you need for a perfect stay. Casa Verde is set in stunning countryside, waking up there every morning to the tranquil views was such a delight. Casa Verde is a new build, done to a high sec but tastefully decorated to feel rustic & tradition, with white washed walls + modern appliances. The kitchen & living room is a fab open plan space with high ceilings. There is everything you need in the kitchen + coffee machine & even a delicious bottle of Vinho Verde to welcome you. In their house book you have all the instructions needed, plus recommends of all the great local beaches, restaurants and more. We didn’t have a car, so we walked (we’re not keen hikers – just enjoyed getting to know the surroundings more by walking, each walk around 25 – 40 mins) each day to the many array of stunning beaches, there are so many wonderful beaches in this part of the world we were lucky to visit 9! We’d start our day by the pool, where we were usually the only ones, then headed out for the day to explore. The bedroom is the perfect size for two + towels for pool, beach & bathroom (which was great if traveling light) & a lovely little bathroom – all done to a high spec. The mosquito net was v helpful. The Wifi was ace too. There is a lovely bbq spot and fab seating area outside the front of the villa. we’d highly recommend Casa Verde to visit – we already want to go back. Karin and Kees thanks so much for a truely wonderful stay at Casa Verde. Fin & I enjoyed our time there so much, we didnt want to leave. I appreciate your chilled laid back approach and we had all the info & everything we needed – even local restaurant recommends! Casa Verde it’s self is a stunning building & we felt V calm being there. Loved the open plan space & traditional, rustic setting. Thanks for the towels too, this made travel alot easier for us. We wish you all the best for future stays & hope to visit again one day ; )
